Job Description
Success for this position is measured in the ability to partner with teams within the agency to develop strategies that inspire ideas and work that is contextually relevant across all media along the consumer journey, along with highly targeted, data-informed content. You will work with teams in developing and implementing strategies that solve clients’ problems and inspire new ideas and work that gets people excited. You will be asked to challenge and elevate strategic thinking so that we’re always delivering bold and innovative thinking. The candidate must be a change agent who is excited to contribute to the culture in our planning department.
Roles and Responsibilities include:
- Start by turning observation, data and research into insight. This means partnering with our data team on analysis and social listening, and collaborating with other member teams to uncover the problem we need to solve and the insights to help us do it.
- Challenge and elevate strategic thinking, add new perspective, and ensure creative briefs are well articulated
- Be a trusted partner and reliable resource for clients and for creative teams
- Understand research and reporting methodology
Qualifications:
- Experience working in advertising, brand building, or other transferable experience with relevant skill sets (i.e., journalism, sociology, etc.).
- Proven thought-leadership and ability to contribute strategic thinking.
- Experience with qual/quant research methods (tracking studies, focus groups, in-depth interviews, ethnographic research – any type of interviewing skills) with the ability to identify true insights.
- Verbal and non-verbal communication skills, and presentation skills.
- Must have strong presentation skills and be able to develop presentation materials that are clear, concise, and intriguing.
- Innate curiosity to want to understand people, culture and the world, overall, and, most importantly, a burning desire to dig into what makes them tick.
- Ability to collaborate effectively in cross-team settings.
