Located in major shopping malls across key cities, the business targets customers who appreciate craftsmanship, quality, and a personalized luxury shopping experience.

The product range includes various premium fashion and accessory categories such as leather goods (handbags, wallets, and travel items), small leather accessories, belts, and other lifestyle items. Some boutiques also offer ready-to-wear collections, footwear, and additional fashion pieces that complement customers’ everyday style. The overall focus is on providing well-crafted products while ensuring a comfortable and elevated shopping experience for customers.

Job Role:

As part of its continued growth, the company is seeking an experienced fashion retail leader to join the team and uphold the highest standards of performance and customer satisfaction. The selected candidate will be responsible for managing the first store and supporting the expansion of a new brand that is currently confidential.

As the Store Manager, you will represent the brand and take full responsibility for leading the store team, driving sales, and delivering an exceptional customer experience. You will oversee day-to-day store operations, manage team development, and implement company strategies to ensure overall store success, while providing excellent service to upscale customers who value luxury fashion, high-quality craftsmanship, and prestigious brands, often shopping in high-end malls.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver outstanding in-store customer experience while ensuring service standards aligned with luxury retail expectations.
  • Drive store performance to achieve sales targets and key KPIs (Sales Turnover, AUR, ATV, UPT, and Customer Retention) through regular sales analysis and performance reporting.
  • Implement clienteling strategies to build strong relationships and maintain a loyal, high-value customer base.
  • Ensure visual merchandising and overall store presentation follow established brand guidelines and maintain premium store standards.
  • Lead daily briefings and guide the team to align with store targets and business objectives.
  • Lead, motivate, coach, and develop the store team to achieve sales goals and deliver service excellence.
  • Manage team operations including scheduling, recruitment support, onboarding, training, and performance evaluations.
  • Oversee daily store operations such as opening/closing procedures, cash handling, deliveries, and after-sales service.
  • Monitor inventory levels, maintain organized stockrooms, and ensure accurate stock takes.
  • Coordinate with the head office on store operations, reporting, and operational support.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Education: Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in any major.
  • Experience: Minimum 3–5 years in luxury retail management within high-end fashion or accessories stores, particularly luxury shoe brands, with experience in Sales/Business, Customer Engagement/Customer Service, and Store Operations roles.
  • Industry Expertise: Familiarity with KPIs and clienteling strategies in luxury retail.
  • Technical Skills: Strong leadership, sales management, and customer service orientation.
  • Professional Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, problem-solving, and coordination skills.
  • Personal Qualities: Professional, detail-oriented, well-groomed, strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Language Skills: Basic English for communication.
