In 1981, CV Untung ("CV" means small-scale business) started its business as a traditional casting gold jewelry producer. The company adopted simple production processes that were far from the touch of modern technology.
In 1991, CV Untung turned into PT Untung Bersama Sejahtera (commonly called PT. UBS) and experienced a total renewal in product variety, technology, management and marketing activities. Nevertheless, noble values rooted from the early days were kept. Among the values were keeping reliable purity of gold in the products and putting customers interests and issues above anything else.

Now, this family-run company has entered into the next generation of its leadership and management.
