Job description for Steward Kitchen at Pantja Bar & Restaurant
Responsibilities
- Wash and sanitize chinaware, glassware, cutlery, and kitchen utensils
- Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area, dishwashing station, and back-of-house
- Operate and maintain dishwashing equipment properly and safely
- Handle cleaning chemicals according to safety and hygiene standards
- Manage waste disposal and grease trap cleaning schedules
- Support the kitchen team with equipment setup and storage
- Report breakage, loss, and equipment issues to the supervisor
Requirements
- Minimum SMA/SMK graduate
- Experience as a Steward in a restaurant or hotel is an advantage (fresh graduates are welcome)
- Physically fit and able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Understands basic food hygiene and sanitation standards
- Willing to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays
- Honest, disciplined, and a good team player
