Ferro Ubud is looking for an exceptional team player to join as Steward.
Key Responsibilities
Wash, clean, and sanitize dishes, glassware, cutlery, kitchen utensils, pots, pans, and other equipment.
Ensure all cleaned items are properly stored and readily available for use.
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the kitchen, dishwashing area, service areas, and other assigned spaces.
Dispose of food waste and garbage properly according to restaurant procedures.
Keep garbage bins, drains, floors, walls, and other kitchen areas clean and hygienic.
Assist with cleaning kitchen equipment, work surfaces, storage areas, and other facilities as assigned.
Ensure adequate supply of cleaning materials and report shortages to the Supervisor.
Handle cleaning chemicals safely and according to established procedures.
Follow proper hygiene, sanitation, and food safety standards at all times.
Assist the kitchen team with basic cleaning, preparation, and support tasks when required.
Maintain proper organization of cleaning tools, equipment, and supplies.
Report damaged equipment, plumbing issues, safety hazards, or maintenance concerns to the Supervisor immediately.
Support opening and closing duties, including cleaning and preparation of the kitchen and restaurant areas.
Follow all company policies, SOPs, health and safety regulations, and workplace standards.
Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Supervisor or Restaurant Manager.
Requirements
Minimum high school education or equivalent.
Previous experience as a Steward, Dishwasher, Kitchen Helper, or similar F&B role is preferred.
Good understanding of basic cleanliness and sanitation practices.
Physically fit and able to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
Able to work in a fast-paced and physically demanding environment.
Responsible, disciplined, and able to follow instructions.
Good teamwork and communication skills.
Willing to work shifts, weekends, public holidays, and overtime when required.
Able to work with cleaning chemicals and kitchen equipment safely.
