Job description for Staff Inventory Control at PT. Pangan Untuk Semua

JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Monitor and maintain accurate inventory records for fresh and frozen food products, ensuring real-time stock accuracy.
  • Perform daily, weekly, and monthly inventory reconciliation between physical stock and the inventory management system.
  • Conduct regular cycle counts and stock opname, investigate discrepancies, and implement corrective actions.
  • Monitor inventory movements, including receiving, storage, transfers, returns, and stock issuance.
  • Track product batches, expiration dates, and inventory aging to minimize spoilage and product losses.
  • Ensure proper implementation of FIFO (First In, First Out) and FEFO (First Expired, First Out) inventory practices.
  • Coordinate with Purchasing, Sales, Warehouse, and Logistics teams to maintain optimal inventory levels and product availability.
  • Monitor slow-moving, excess, and near-expiry inventory and provide recommendations for corrective actions.
  • Verify the accuracy of inventory transactions and ensure all supporting documentation is complete and properly recorded.
  • Prepare inventory reports, stock variance analysis, and inventory performance reports for management.
  • Support internal and external audits by providing accurate inventory documentation and records.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, food safety regulations, and cold chain inventory handling procedures.
  • Identify opportunities to improve inventory accuracy and warehouse inventory control processes.

QUALIFICATION

  • Minimum Diploma (D3) or Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field.
  • Minimum 1–2 years of experience in Inventory Control, Warehouse Administration, or Logistics, preferably in the Food Distribution, Frozen Food, FMCG, or Cold Chain industry.
  • Strong understanding of inventory management, stock reconciliation, and warehouse operations.
  • Knowledge of FIFO, FEFO, batch control, lot tracking, and expiration date management.
  • Familiarity with cold chain operations and proper handling of chilled and frozen products is an advantage.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, IF formulas, and basic data analysis).
  • Experience using ERP, WMS (Warehouse Management System), or Inventory Management Systems is preferred.
  • Strong analytical and numerical skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Able to identify inventory discrepancies and recommend corrective actions.
  • Good communication and coordination skills with cross-functional teams.
  • Able to work independently and under pressure in a fast-paced distribution environment.
  • Honest, responsible, and highly organized with a strong sense of integrity.
  • Willing to work on a shift schedule and be assigned to the company's warehouse in Joglo, West Jakarta.
