Job description for Sports Coach for Kids at Little Athlete
We are looking for a passionate and energetic Sports Coach to lead fun, engaging, and educational sports sessions for children under 6 years old. The goal is to build a strong foundation in physical literacy, including motor skills, coordination, teamwork, and confidence, while nurturing a lifelong love for movement and sports. This role is not about competition or technical mastery, but about creating positive first experiences with sports in a safe, supportive, and playful environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Plan and conduct multi-sport sessions (such as soccer, basketball, tennis, and basic athletics) tailored to early childhood development.
• Introduce fundamental movement skills like running, jumping, catching, throwing, and balancing through fun games and activities.
• Foster teamwork, discipline, and sportsmanship in an age-appropriate way.
• Ensure every child feels included, encouraged, and confident during sessions.
• Communicate clearly with parents about class progress and their child’s participation.
