Job Description
The Sports Teacher will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging physical education lessons aligned with UK-based international curricula, such as Cambridge International or AQA, across Primary to Advanced levels. The teacher is expected to develop students’ physical skills, sportsmanship, teamwork, and understanding of healthy lifestyles while maintaining a safe and inclusive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach Physical Education and sports activities to students from Primary to Advanced levels.
- Prepare lesson plans and learning materials aligned with the applicable international curriculum.
- Deliver practical and theoretical lessons that develop physical fitness, coordination, and sports skills.
- Organize sports activities, games, and fitness programs suitable for different age groups.
- Ensure student safety and maintain appropriate supervision during sports activities.
- Collaborate with the academic team to support students’ overall development.
Main Requirements
- Prior experience teaching a UK-based international curriculum, such as Cambridge International or AQA, at Primary to Advanced levels.
- Strong knowledge of Physical Education and sports instruction.
Ability to plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate physical education lessons.
Qualifications
- A degree in Physical Education, Sports Science, or a related field is preferred.
- Previous teaching experience in an international school or equivalent educational setting is preferred.
- Strong classroom management, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to different age groups and physical abilities.
- Commitment to student safety, inclusive participation, and professional teaching standards.
