Our client is a premier sports and wellness destination newly established in Pangkalpinang, set to officially open in mid-2026. The facility serves as a high-quality environment for fitness enthusiasts to engage in a variety of athletic activities and enhance overall well-being. Beyond its physical amenities, the hub is designed to foster community growth and support professional networking across Bangka Belitung.

By building strong connections with local sports communities, government agencies, and private sector partners, the facility aims to become the central hub for the region’s digital and physical health transformation. Through integrated sports management and creative lifestyle programming, it is committed to delivering world-class service standards while contributing to the nation’s long-term health agenda.

Job Role:

The Sport Center Manager is responsible for the end-to-end technical leadership and commercial success of the facility. This role requires a "Founding Manager" mindset—someone who can manage daily operations while simultaneously driving business growth through creative promotions and community building. You will serve as the primary technical architect for the facility’s business strategy, ensuring that last-mile customer engagement is seamlessly integrated with robust operational backend infrastructures to guarantee high-performance service delivery.

Beyond physical operations, you will drive the integration of community-focused programs to enhance service value for members. This includes designing and overseeing event architectures that leverage local partnerships to provide intelligent traffic management and secure facility access. You will lead cross-domain teams to resolve operational issues and use proactive engagement to identify new business opportunities that enhance long-term customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operational Excellence: Oversee daily operations to ensure they are effective, efficient, and compliant with established SOPs.
  • Business & Revenue Growth: Manage the operational budget, monitor expenses, and prepare performance reports to be reviewed with management for continuous improvement.
  • Promotion & Event Management: Design and execute online/offline promotion strategies and collaborative events to drive traffic and increase revenue.
  • Community Development: Build and maintain strong relationships with sports communities, government agencies, and private institutions to expand the hub’s network.
  • Facility & Quality Control: Supervise the cleanliness, orderliness, and maintenance of all facilities, ensuring every customer complaint is handled professionally and promptly.
  • Team Leadership: Lead, direct, and evaluate the performance of the staff (operational, cleaning, and security) to ensure maximum productivity.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Education: Minimum Diploma (D3) or Bachelor’s Degree (S1) in any major (Management or Sports-related fields are a plus).
  • Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in facility management or fitness/sports/wellness center management; Proven ability to plan promotions and execute events that drive commercial results during their tenure in the above roles.
  • Personal & Cultural Fit: A genuine interest in community sports and a healthy lifestyle; A dynamic, active, and agile personality; Strong leadership, communicative, solution-driven, and adaptable to a fast-paced environment.
  • Language: Adequate level of English.
  • Mobility: Must be based in or willing to relocate to Pangkalpinang, Bangka Belitung.
