Job description for Southeast Asia HR Lead (Chinese Speaking) at Madael Consult (HR Consultant)
- Design and implement HR policies that are standardized across the region yet tailored to local labor laws and cultural practices, ensuring ongoing refinement and improvement.
- Oversee workforce planning, organizational structure optimization, headcount control, talent review, and pipeline development to support business growth.
- Coordinate regional compensation and benefits, payroll, salary adjustments, incentives, and performance management systems including reviews and applications.
- Lead local HR operations, ensure employment compliance, manage labor disputes, oversee work/residence permits for overseas employees, and mitigate employment risks.
- Manage HR teams across Southeast Asia, collaborate with Group HR and cross‑functional departments, and provide regular HR data reports, key issue reviews, and progress updates.
- Placement: Indonesia / Malaysia.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or above, preferably in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related fields.
- Over 10 years of full‑module HR experience, including at least 3 years in regional HR coordination across Southeast Asia.
- Proven capability in HR system setup, compliance control, performance and compensation management, cross‑cultural team leadership, and strong risk handling.
- Strong knowledge of labor laws, regulations, and local culture in multiple countries.
- Fluent Chinese and English as working languages.
- Adaptable to overseas assignments and frequent business travel.
