Job description for SOUS CHEF at The Sun Restaurant
- Minimum 1 years of experience as a Sous Chef or Senior CDP in high-volume restaurant.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Experience with inventory control, food costing, ordering, and stock management.
- Strong knowledge of food safety, HACCP, and kitchen hygiene standards.
- Experience in menu development and recipe standardization is an advantage.
- Able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Flexible to work weekends, public holidays, and shift schedules.
Responsibilities:
- Support the Head Chef in daily kitchen operations.
- Supervise and train the kitchen team.
- Ensure food quality, consistency, and presentation standards.
- Monitor food cost, waste, and inventory.
- Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards.
- Coordinate with service team to ensure smooth operations.
Salary: IDR 6-10 million/month
(depending on experience, skills, and interview performance).
