Job description for Solutions Engineer - AEC Specialist at Pt Esri Indonesia

About the role:

The Solution Engineer — AEC Specialist will have a minimum of two years’ experience in the planning, design, construction, or maintenance of building and/or infrastructure projects.

With hands-on experience using GIS software and BIM processes, the AEC Specialist must have a strong understanding of mapping and geospatial concepts to develop effective solutions and support efficient project delivery.

Leveraging a strong technical background, the AEC Specialist communicates the value of proposed solutions to clients — delivering compelling presentations on how the proposed solutions address business and operational challenges.

About you:

Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Geodesy, Geography, Urban Planning, or a similar field. Masters’ degree is a plus
Strong knowledge of construction processes and BIM implementation
Strong knowledge of Autodesk software (Revit, AutoCAD, Civil3D, Infraworks, Navisworks, BIM360)
Experience with geospatial software and BIM-related software (Bentley, Tekla, ArchiCAD, Trimble)
Hands-on experience with ArcGIS (Desktop & Online/Enterprise) and/or other GIS software
Experience in geospatial data management and exposure to various geospatial data types and formats (shapefiles, geodatabase, raster, point-cloud)
Experience with reality capture technology (TLS, drone photogrammetry, Lidar)
