Job Summary
As a Software QA Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our web and mobile applications throughout the software development lifecycle. You will collaborate closely with Product Managers, Developers, and Designers to validate new features, identify issues, and ensure every release meets our quality standards. This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about software quality, eager to learn modern testing practices, and enjoy working in a collaborative engineering environment.
đ§ What You'll Do
- Review product requirements, user stories, and technical specifications before development and release.
- Design, create, and maintain manual test cases and test scenarios for web and mobile applications.
- Execute manual testing, including functional, regression, exploratory, smoke, and end-to-end testing.
- Test application features, APIs, and user flows to ensure functionality, usability, and data accuracy.
- Identify, document, prioritize, and track bugs using bug tracking tools, then verify fixes before release.
- Collaborate closely with Product Managers, Developers, UI/UX Designers, and other stakeholders throughout the development cycle.
- Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) by preparing test documentation and validating reported issues.
- Maintain QA documentation and continuously improve testing processes to ensure product quality.
- Learn and contribute to automation testing initiatives using modern testing tools when applicable.
- Contribute ideas to improve product quality, testing efficiency, and release reliability.
đ What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
- Up to 3 years of experience in Manual QA or Software Testing.
- Good understanding of SDLC and STLC.
- Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail.
- Good communication skills to report and discuss issues effectively.
- Comfortable working in an Agile/Scrum environment.
- Able to prioritize testing activities and manage multiple tasks.
â Nice to Have
- Experience with API testing using Postman.
- Basic SQL knowledge for validating database records.
- Experience using Jira or similar bug tracking tools.
- Familiarity with test case management tools (TestRail, Qase, Zephyr, etc.).
- Basic understanding of automation testing tools such as Playwright, Selenium, or Cypress.
- Experience testing Android and iOS applications.
