Job description for Software Functional Consultant at AssetFindr
Responsibilities
- Interview client users and map their business processes, both current and future state.
- Write requirements, fit-gap analyses, and solution designs.
- Configure business systems such as ERP modules for sales, purchasing, inventory, accounting, and manufacturing, or other systems
- Write functional specifications for custom features and work closely with the development team.
- Prepare and validate data migration, including master data and opening balances.
- Write test scenarios, run user acceptance testing (UAT), and follow up on issues until they are closed.
- Train client users and prepare user guides.
- Support go-live and provide post-go-live assistance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Information Systems, Accounting, Industrial Engineering, Management, or a related field.
- 1–3 years of experience as an functional consultant or business analyst, or in an operational role such as finance, procurement, or warehouse.
- Good project management skills
- Solid understanding of core business flows: HR, order-to-cash, procure-to-pay, inventory, basic accounting and others
- Able to explain technical topics in plain language to business users.
- Good spoken and written communication
