Social Studies Teacher (Middle School Level)
Our school is currently seeking a qualified and passionate Social Studies Teacher to join our Middle School team
Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver Social Studies lessons aligned with the national curriculum.
- Develop lesson plans, teaching materials, and assessments.
- Create an interactive and student-centered learning environment.
- Monitor and evaluate students’ academic progress.
- Maintain classroom discipline and positive learning culture.
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding students’ progress.
- Participate in school meetings, training sessions, and school programs.
- Contribute to extracurricular or character-building activities when required.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Social Studies Education, History, Geography, Civics, or a related field.
- Minimum 1–2 years of teaching experience at Junior High School level (preferred).
- Strong classroom management skills.
- Good communication skills in English (active) and Bahasa Indonesia.
- Passionate about teaching and student development.
- Responsible, disciplined, and able to work collaboratively in a team.
- Able to integrate technology into classroom instruction.
- Willing to participate in school development programs.
