Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Proven experience (>1 year) as a Social Media Strategist or similar role.
- Proficient in English and Korean Language .
- Deep understanding of social media platforms, their respective audiences, and best practices for content creation and engagement.
- Hands-on experience in managing social media accounts with a focus on Korean wave (K-culture/K-pop) trends and audience engagement is a plus.
- Proficiency in social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer, Sprout Social) and analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, social media insights).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a creative flair for content creation.
- Strong analytical skills to interpret data, derive insights, and make data-driven decisions.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines.
- Experience with graphic design, video editing, or photography is a plus.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive social media strategies aligned with overall marketing goals to increase brand visibility, engagement, and conversion.
- Plan high-quality, engaging, and on-brand content for social media platforms (such as Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, etc.) including visuals, videos, and written content.
- Plan social media campaigns, including sponsored content, promotions, contests, and collaborations with influencers or partners.
- Monitor, analyze, and report on social media metrics and KPIs regularly. Utilize insights to optimize strategies, content, and campaigns for better performance.
- Stay updated on social media trends, algorithm changes, and new platform features to implement innovative and effective strategies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as marketing, design, and product teams to align social media efforts with broader company initiatives.
- Assist in managing and optimizing paid social media campaigns to drive targeted traffic and conversions as needed.
