Job description for Social Media Specialist at Gem Arae
We’re looking for a creative and proactive Social Media Specialist to grow Gemarae’s online presence through engaging content, trend-driven strategies, and community management. You’ll be responsible for planning, creating, and optimizing content across our social media platforms while helping strengthen our brand identity in the jewelry industry
Responsibilities
* Manage and maintain all Gemarae social media platforms.
* Develop monthly content calendars aligned with brand and campaign objectives.
* Shoot, edit and finalize photo and video content for social media distribution.
* Monitor social media trends, competitors, and industry insights to identify content opportunities.
* Engage with the community through comments, messages, and social interactions.
* Track content performance and prepare weekly and monthly reports with actionable insights and recommendations.
* Collaborate with the host and e-commerce teams to execute campaigns effectively.
Requirements
* Minimum 1 year of experience in social media, content creation, or digital marketing.
* Strong understanding of Instagram, TikTok, and current social media trends.
* Basic photo/video editing skills (CapCut, Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar tools).
* Comfortable creating content independently and coordinating talent shoots.
* Familiar with AI tools for content creation is a plus.
* Strong communication and organizational skills.
* Interest in fashion, jewelry, beauty, or lifestyle brands is highly preferred.
Bonus Points If You :
* Have experience managing TikTok Shop or livestream content.
* Understand social media analytics and performance reporting.
* Have a portfolio showcasing content you’ve created or managed.
