SOCIAL MEDIA SPECIALIST

Orca Communication is a digital advertising agency looking for a creative, strategic, and digitally savvy Social Media Specialist to join our growing team.
You will be responsible for developing and managing social media strategies, creating engaging content, managing social media channels, and helping brands build a strong and relevant digital presence.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop and execute social media strategies based on client objectives and target audiences.
Manage daily social media activities across platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, LinkedIn, and other relevant channels.
Develop monthly content plans, content calendars, and campaign concepts.
Write engaging captions, copy, and social media content.
Work closely with Creative, Content, Account, and Performance teams.
Monitor social media trends, audience behavior, and competitor activities.
Develop creative ideas and social media campaigns that are relevant to each brand.
Monitor and analyze social media performance and provide actionable insights.
Prepare social media reports and recommendations for improvement.
Manage community engagement and respond appropriately to comments, messages, and audience interactions.
Stay updated with the latest social media trends, platform features, formats, and algorithms.
Ensure all content aligns with brand guidelines, tone of voice, and campaign objectives.
REQUIREMENTS
Minimum 2 years of experience as a Social Media Specialist, Social Media Executive, Content Specialist, or similar role.
Experience in a digital advertising, creative, or marketing agency is highly preferred.
Strong understanding of social media platforms, trends, and content formats.
Excellent copywriting and communication skills.
Creative, proactive, and able to generate fresh content ideas.
Strong understanding of brand positioning and audience behavior.
Able to create and manage content calendars.
Familiar with social media analytics and performance metrics.
Strong attention to detail and good time management.
Able to manage multiple brands or projects simultaneously.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven agency environment.
Experience with TikTok and Instagram Reels is a strong plus.
Basic knowledge of content creation tools such as Canva, CapCut, or similar tools is a plus.
