Job description for Social Media Manager at Balistarz
About the Role:
BaliStarz is looking for a talented Content Creator / Videographer / Editor to join our team full-time in Bali. This is an in-person role for someone creative, highly organised, and experienced in producing high-quality photo and video content.
You will be responsible for overseeing, planning, creating, and curating engaging visual content for models, social media, campaigns, and overall agency branding.
Key Responsibilities:
Create high-quality photo and video content for models, campaigns, and BaliStarz branding
Film and edit BTS reels, short-form videos, and social media content
Capture professional photography including portraits, lifestyle, and behind-the-scenes imagery
Edit content for Instagram, TikTok, website, and other digital platforms
Create and update model PDFs, comp cards, and portfolios
Plan and manage content calendars across Instagram, website, and newsletters
Direct and curate photo/video shoots to maintain brand standards
Download new imagery and select strongest final images
Coordinate with bookers, models, photographers, videographers, and creative teams
Ensure visual consistency across all platforms
Track content performance and optimise engagement
Assist on shoots, productions, and campaign days when needed
Requirements:
Fluent English (written and spoken)
Strong portfolio in photography, videography, and/or editing
Experience with editing software such as Premiere Pro, Final Cut, CapCut, Lightroom, Photoshop, or similar
Strong eye for aesthetics, branding, composition, and storytelling
Experience in social media, content creation, or content management
Organised, proactive, self-directed, and reliable
Easy to work with and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment
Ability to work full-time in person in Bali
Preferred Skills:
AI content creation / editing skills
Fashion, talent, or creative industry experience
Experience shooting portraits or model content
Graphic design or motion graphics skills
