Through our three pillars—Movement, Nutrition, and Mental Wellbeing—we create meaningful wellness experiences, corporate wellness programs, community events, retreats, and digital wellness offerings.
We're looking for a creative, proactive, and wellness-minded Social Media Intern to help us grow our digital presence and bring our stories to life.
What You'll Do
- Create engaging and visually appealing content for Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube, including Reels, carousels, Stories, and short-form videos.
- Assist in developing content calendars, creative concepts, captions, and social media campaigns.
- Capture photos and videos during wellness sessions, events, retreats, and behind-the-scenes activities using a Canon camera.
- Design social media content and marketing materials using Canva.
- Edit and repurpose content for different social media platforms.
- Assist in setting up and monitoring digital advertising campaigns through Meta Ads Manager (Instagram and Facebook).
- Support day-to-day social media management, community interactions, and audience engagement.
- Monitor social media trends, platform performance, and content insights to identify opportunities for growth.
- Collaborate with our Marketing, Community, and Event & Partnership teams to support upcoming programs and campaigns.
Who We're Looking For
- Based in Jakarta and willing to work in a hybrid arrangement, including on-site attendance for meetings, content production, and events when required.
- Has a genuine interest in wellness and, ideally, an ongoing personal wellness journey, whether through yoga, fitness, mindfulness, nutrition, mental wellbeing, or other holistic practices.
- Comfortable operating a Canon camera for photography and videography (or own a camera).
- Proficient in Canva, Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube, with an understanding of content formats and platform best practices.
- Able to set up digital advertising campaigns through Meta Ads Manager, including basic audience targeting, budgeting, and campaign monitoring.
- Has a good eye for visual storytelling, design, and aesthetics
- Creative, organized, proactive, and comfortable working independently as well as collaboratively.
- Eager to learn, open to feedback, and excited to grow alongside an emerging wellness brand.
- Previous social media experience or a creative portfolio is a plus, but we're equally interested in your creativity, initiative, and willingness to learn.
Our Recruitment Process
Step 1 — Creative Assessment: Instagram Carousel Mock-Up
As the first step of our recruitment process, shortlisted applicants will be invited to create a mock Instagram carousel based on our website
Your carousel should communicate three things:
- Who We Are: What is Micro Mindfulness, and what do we stand for?
- What We Offer: What products, services, and wellness experiences can people discover through Micro Mindfulness?
- How to Connect With Us: How can individuals, communities, or businesses get in touch or explore our offerings?
We're looking at your ability to understand a brand, translate information into engaging visual storytelling, and communicate clearly through social media.
Step 2 — Interview
Selected applicants will be invited to an interview to discuss their experience, creative approach, technical skills, and interest in wellness.
