Job description for Social Media Intern at Pt. Foom Lab Global
Role Overview:
Supports social media content production, community management, trend monitoring, and brand activations. The role contributes to a steady content pipeline, timely audience engagement, and consistent representation of FOOM across social platforms and selected events.
Key Responsibilities:
- Content Production
- Support planning and shooting short-form content, including Reels and behind-the-scenes materials.
- Community Management
- Monitor comments and direct interactions, respond using approved guidelines, and escalate sensitive issues.
- Trend Monitoring
- Track relevant platform trends, formats, sounds, topics, and competitor activities for the content idea bank.
- Event Activation
- Assist with social media coverage and audience engagement during approved brand events.
- On-Camera Support
- Serve as a host or talent for selected Life at FOOM and employer-branding content when assigned.
- Content Administration
- Maintain content calendars, production trackers, captions, asset folders, and performance recaps.
Qualifications:
- Active student or fresh graduate in Communication, Digital Media, Mass Media, Marketing, or a related field.
- Familiar with Instagram, TikTok, and current short-form content practices.
- Strong communication skills and confidence in engaging with online communities.
- Basic content shooting or editing skills are preferred.
- Willing to work on-site and occasionally support events outside regular hours.

- Creative, socially aware, and sensitive to brand reputation.
- Responsive, collaborative, and comfortable in front of or behind the camera.
- Able to follow response guidelines and exercise sound judgment online.
- Physically able to support content shoots and event activities.
