Job description for Social Media Intern at WASTE HUBS INDONESIA
About the Role
We are looking for a Social Media Intern to support our team in managing daily social media interactions, creating engaging content, and monitoring social media performance. You’ll work closely with the team to help keep our online community engaged and ensure inquiries are followed up properly.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and respond to social media DMs, comments, and incoming inquiries via WhatsApp in a timely, friendly, and professional manner.
- Track and organize incoming questions, FAQs, partnership inquiries, and other social media leads in the team’s inquiry/FAQ dashboard.
- Identify recurring questions or topics and help keep the FAQ and response database updated
- Support social media content creation, including:
- Creating simple graphics and visual content.
- Editing short-form videos/Reels/TikTok content.
- Preparing content based on the team's content calendar and guidelines.
- Support the preparation of weekly/monthly social media reports, including basic performance tracking and insights.
- Monitor social media engagement and help identify content or topics that resonate with our audience.
- Assist with other social media and digital communication activities as needed.
Requirements
- Final-year student or fresh graduate in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, Graphic Design, or a related field.
- Interested in social media, content creation, and digital marketing.
- Comfortable using social media platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, and WhatsApp.
- Basic skills in Canva and/or video editing tools such as CapCut are preferred.
- Good written communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia and English.
- Organized, responsive, and comfortable handling multiple inquiries or tasks.
- Proactive, willing to learn, and able to work collaboratively with a small team.
