Job description for Social Media Copywriter at Sosplan Creative
Responsibilities
- Produce creative, persuasive and engaging written content for a variety of digital marketing and communications projects.
- Understand brand objectives and messages, and communicate those messages consistently and effectively through the text produced.
- Collaborate with creative, marketing and design teams to develop concepts and ideas for campaigns and projects, and ensure consistency between text and visual elements.
- Conduct the necessary research to understand target audiences, industry trends and market needs, and use those insights to create relevant and engaging content.
- Ensure factual accuracy, good grammar and appropriate writing style in all materials produced, and make revisions and improvements based on feedback received.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks and meet tight deadlines.
- Communicate regularly with clients or internal stakeholders, gain a clear understanding of their needs, and produce content that meets their expectations.
- Stay current on industry trends, best practices, and the latest developments in the field of creative writing and marketing.
Qualifications
- Create clear and concise copy for various media accounts
- Interpret creative direction and adapt points from creative briefs into persuasive copy concepts.
- Collaborate with the creative team from concept development to final product delivery.
- Ensure brand consistency in copy through tone, voice, and terminology.
- Ensure all copies are proofread and error-free.
- Participate in creative brainstorming with the team to develop content ideas.
