Job description for Social Media Content Specialist at eKan
Responsibilities:
- Create creative and engaging content for Instagram, TikTok, and other social media platforms.
- Develop content ideas, concepts, and simple content plans aligned with brand identity.
- Take high-quality photo and video content using an iPhone, including food, products, services, facilities, and lifestyle content.
- Edit photo and video content for social media, including Reels and TikTok.
- Create simple and attractive graphic designs for social media posts, stories, promotions, and campaigns.
- Manage day-to-day social media activities, including posting, scheduling, captions, and basic engagement.
- Stay updated with current social media trends, especially F&B and wellness content trends.
- Collaborate with the marketing and operational teams to execute campaigns and promotions.
Requirements:
- Experience in social media content creation, preferably in F&B, wellness, beauty, hospitality, or lifestyle.
- Good eye for visual content, composition, and aesthetics.
- Able to shoot content using an iPhone independently.
- Proficient in basic photo/video editing.
- Able to use graphic design tools such as Canva, Adobe Photoshop, or similar tools.
- Understands Instagram and TikTok trends, formats, and content styles.
- Creative, proactive, detail-oriented, and comfortable working hands-on.
- Portfolio is a MUST.
