Cibubur Indonesia School (CIS), established in 2008 under the KEI-SIA INDONESIA Foundation, has been pioneering educational excellence in Indonesia. Our journey began with the establishment of 7th Heaven Preschool in 2008, followed by SD Sekolah Cibubur Indonesia in 2012, and the expansion to Junior High (SMP Sekolah Cibubur Indonesia) in 2019. In 2020, we furthered our commitment to education by establishing a new site in Leuwinanggung, Tapos, Depok. We are now seeking a dedicated Homeroom Teacher to join our vibrant and dynamic team.

The role of a Shadow Teacher at Cibubur Indonesia School is crucial in shaping the academic and personal development of our special need students. Reporting directly to the Homeroom Teacher, you will play a pivotal role in creating a nurturing environment that fosters a love for learning and encourages students to reach their full potential. Key responsibilities include developing and implementing lesson plans, conducting classroom management, providing individualized student counseling, and maintaining open lines of communication with parents. You will also be responsible for creating engaging and practical learning experiences that connect theory to real-world applications, ensuring students are well-prepared for future challenges.

We are looking for a candidate who is passionate about education and possesses a Bachelor's degree in Psychology. Ideally, you will have between 3 to 5 years of handling special need student experience, particularly in the Elementary level. Essential skills include strong classroom management abilities, effective student counseling techniques, proficiency in language teaching, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record of delivering high-quality education. Cibubur Indonesia School (CIS) was established in 2008, under KEI-SIA INDONESIA Foundation (Yayasan KEI-SIA Indonesia), aiming to reshape and develop the face of education in Indonesia.

Setting-up 7th Heaven Preschool, which is located in Raffles Hills – Cibubur, was the first step taken in 2008, by the foundation towards the betterment of education in the surrounding community. The need of quality education which is affordable, specifically in Cibubur area is what triggers KEI-SIA Indonesia foundation to take the step towards providing for the need.

With the encouragement and continuous support from the Parents of our students, the foundation spread its wings and established Primary Level Education (Sekolah Dasar) in the year of 2012, known as SD Sekolah Cibubur Indonesia. Great achievement for this level is to be a SEKOLAH AMAT BAIK, given by Disdik Depok for top 25 school in USBN 2019.

As the demand for higher level education, and at the same time the number of students are increasing simultaneously, KEI-SIA Indonesia foundation is determined to meet the demand by expanding the school not only to the higher level of Junior High (SMP Sekolah Cibubur Indonesia), but also to a new site establishment with more than adequate facilities in a new building located in Leuwinanggung, Tapos, Depok, in the Academic Year of 2019/2020. Great achievement for this level is to be a winner of ASEAN Scholarships 2023, by MOE Singapore.
