Job description for Shadow Teacher at Profectus Jakarta
WE’RE HIRING: SHADOW TEACHER (PIK 2 & GREATER JAKARTA AREA)
We are looking for passionate and dedicated individuals to join our team as a Shadow Teacher for children with special needs.
Placement:
📍 PIK 2 (Pantai Indah Kapuk 2)
📍 Willing to be assigned across Greater Jakarta (Jabodetabek)
Requirements:
- Minimum Bachelor (S1) degree in Psychology, Education, Special Education, or related fields
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a Shadow Teacher or working with children with special needs
- Fluent in English (MANDATORY – both spoken and written)
- Able to conduct basic Occupational Therapy interventions for children
- Strong understanding of children with special needs (Neurodivergent)
- Patient, empathetic, and have strong communication skills
- Able to collaborate with parents, teachers, and multidisciplinary teams
- Flexible and adaptable to the child’s needs
Responsibilities:
- Assist and accompany the child during school activities
- Support emotional regulation, behavior management, and social interaction
- Implement individualized intervention programs
- Provide developmental stimulation, including occupational-based activities
- Prepare regular progress reports
- Coordinate with parents, teachers, and professionals
