JOB DESCRIPTION – SERVER

Position: Server

Location: Okuzono Hospitality Group

Reports to: Supervisor / Restaurant Manager

Job Purpose:

The Server is responsible for providing excellent customer service, ensuring guests have a pleasant dining experience, and maintaining the restaurant's high service standards.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Guest Service & Hospitality

• Greet guests warmly and escort them to their tables.
• Present menus, take orders accurately, and provide recommendations if needed.
• Ensure all guest requests and needs are met promptly and professionally.
• Handle complaints with professionalism and escalate issues to the manager if necessary.

2. Order Management & Service

• Take and relay food and beverage orders to the kitchen and bar accurately.
• Serve food and beverages efficiently, following service SOPs.
• Monitor guest satisfaction and respond to additional requests.
• Prepare and clear tables before and after each service.

3. Restaurant Operations

• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the dining area, including tables, chairs, and serving stations.
• Assist in setting up the restaurant before service and closing procedures after service.
• Follow food safety and sanitation standards.
• Coordinate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure smooth service flow.

4. Sales & Upselling

• Suggest menu items, daily specials, and promotions to enhance guest experience.
• Upsell food and beverage items to maximize revenue.

5. Cash Handling & Reporting

• Process payments accurately using POS systems.
• Issue receipts and return correct change to customers.
• Assist in end-of-shift sales reconciliation and report any discrepancies.

Requirements:

• Minimum high school diploma (SMA/SMK) or equivalent.
• Prior experience as a server or in a similar role is preferred.
• Strong customer service skills with a friendly and professional attitude.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Good communication skills and teamwork abilities.
• Willing to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
