Job description for SEO Spesialis at Skin Coterie
Key Responsibilities:
SEO role
1. Keyword research and analysis:
· Conduct comprehensive keyword research to identify high-value, relevant keywords for content optimisation.
· Analyse keyword trends and competition to optimise content for improved search engine rankings.
2. On-page optimisation:
· Optimise website content, including meta tags, headings, and internal linking, for better search visibility.
· Collaborate with content creators to ensure SEO best practices are integrated into content creation.
3. Off-page optimisation:
· Backlink acquisition - develop and execute off-page optimisation strategies, especially focussing on backlink building to enhance the website's authority.
· Trade and business directories – ensure we are listed on applicable directories to optimise digital footprint.
4. Technical SEO:
· Perform website audits to identify technical issues affecting SEO performance (e.g., crawling, indexing, site speed).
· Work closely with web development/hosting company to implement technical SEO recommendations.
5. Performance monitoring and reporting:
· Monitor website performance using SEO tools and analytics platforms (Google Analytics, Search Console, etc.).
· Generate regular reports on key SEO metrics and provide insights and recommendations for improvement.
6. Website maintenance:
· Perform website health checks.
· Add new content to the websites as needed – content provided.
· Add weekly blog and LinkedIn posts – content provided.
· Test the websites on various devices and run regular speed tests.
· Work with website developer/hosting service to manage and fix any errors.
Requirements:
· Have a min. 5 years experience in SEO
· Fluent in English
· Proven experience as a Google Ads Specialist or in a similar role.
· In-depth knowledge of Google Ads, Google Analytics, and Google Tag Manager.
· Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret data to make informed decisions.
· Proficiency in keyword research tools and bid management tools.
· Excellent communication and project management skills.
· Google Ads Certification is a plus.
