Job description for SEO Content Intern at Vertical Institute
Vertical Institute prepares individuals and businesses for the jobs of tomorrow. We specialize in teaching in-demand skills, building the next generation of changemakers and inventors through our world-class tech bootcamps.
We are looking for a SEO Content Intern to assist with our SEO strategies. Your main mission will be to write SEO-friendly articles relating to the tech job market and tech topics relating to data analytics, data science, digital marketing, and more. As part of an industry-leading SEO team, you’ll also work closely with the creative, performance marketing, tech.
Roles & responsibilities:
* Working closely with Vertical Institute’s SEO specialist to craft engaging articles that are search engine optimised
* Conduct simple keyword research and use SEO guidelines to increase web traffic
* Spotting current trends and brainstorm article ideas that match search intent.
* Research industry-related topics (combining online sources, interviews and studies)
* Have a clear, concise and eloquent writing style
* Write clear marketing copy to promote our products/services
* Support the overall execution of marketing activities in branding, content, campaigns and performance channels
* Work with cross-functional teams (creative, performance marketing, tech and SEO) to assist with growth strategies to support revenue goals
Requirements:
* Have a passion for technology and education
* Excellent command of the English language both written and oral
* Creative flair in copywriting
* A self-starter that loves a fast-paced environment and new challenges
* Driven, willing to learn, self-motivated, can-do attitude, bringing optimism and positive energy to the team
* Meticulous with an extreme attention to detail
* Interest in startups is a plus
