Job description for Senior Web Developer at Nirvana Life Bali
Summary :
We run a wellness, accommodation and property business in Canggu, Bali. Our websites and landing pages are where the revenue comes from - memberships, day passes, bookings, event registrations and property enquiries. We need someone who can keep them moving quickly.
This is a front-end role. You won't be building custom applications from scratch. You'll be shipping pages, making changes and fixing things fast, without us having to check your work line by line.
What you'll actually be doing:
- Deploying landing pages. We supply finished static HTML/CSS/JS landing pages, often drafted with AI tools. Your job is to get them live - either as standalone pages, or rebuilt in WordPress using Elementor so they closely match the original design.
- Front-end changes to our live sites. Most are small: copy, images, pricing, links, schedules, swapping a section in or out. Some are bigger: new pages, restructured layouts, test variants of pages we're running paid traffic to. Speed matters here. When a campaign is live, a two-day turnaround on a simple change costs us money.
- Testing before you publish. Forms submit, buttons work, tracking fires, mobile looks right, pages load fast. We shouldn't be the ones finding your mistakes as right now this is the bottleneck costing us time in addition to speed of implementation on the front end.
- Flagging problems. Broken links, dead forms, slow pages, outdated pricing - tell us, don't wait to be asked :)
- HubSpot
Strong preference for someone who knows HubSpot. You wouldn't be writing the emails or the automation logic, but you would be:
- Connecting landing page forms to HubSpot, either with embedded HubSpot forms or via the API using our custom forms.
- Setting up and maintaining email automations, including abandoned cart sequences.
- Knowing your way around the reporting well enough to point us to the stats on any given automation.
If you've done this before, say so clearly. It moves you to the front of the queue, but again, it's not such a deal breaker if not...
What we're looking for:
- Real WordPress and Elementor experience - you can rebuild a static HTML page in Elementor and have it look right
- Confident with HTML, CSS and JavaScript
- Comfortable with hosting, DNS, staging environments and pushing changes live safely
- Mobile responsiveness and page speed are second nature, not an afterthought
- Good written English and quick to respond
