Senior Tax Accountant
Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Senior Tax Accountant to join our growing consulting team. This role is responsible for managing tax compliance, providing tax advisory services, supporting tax audits, and ensuring clients remain compliant with Indonesian tax regulations. The ideal candidate has a strong consulting mindset, excellent technical tax knowledge, and is comfortable handling multiple clients from various industries.
Key Responsibilities
* Handle monthly and annual tax compliance for multiple clients.
* Prepare, review, and submit SPT Masa and SPT Tahunan accurately and on time.
* Calculate and review PPh (21, 23, 25, 26, 4(2), Final Tax), PPN, and Corporate Income Tax.
* Prepare tax reconciliations with financial statements.
* Assist clients during tax audits, SP2DK, objections, and tax inquiries.
* Provide practical tax advisory and solutions based on current Indonesian tax regulations.
* Monitor tax law updates and communicate regulatory changes to clients.
* Coordinate with clients, auditors, and tax authorities (DJP).
* Review the work of junior team members and provide guidance when necessary.
* Ensure all client deliverables meet quality standards and deadlines.
Requirements
* Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Taxation, or Finance.
* Mandatory experience working in a Tax Consulting Firm or Public Accounting Firm with taxation specialization.
* 3–7 years of experience in taxation.
* Strong knowledge of Indonesian tax regulations and tax compliance.
* Experience handling corporate tax, VAT, withholding taxes, tax audits, and tax advisory.
* Familiar with Coretax DJP, e-Faktur, e-Bupot, and Microsoft Excel.
* Brevet A & B is mandatory; Brevet C is an advantage.
* Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
* Able to manage multiple clients and work under tight deadlines.
* Good written and spoken English is an advantage.
* Fluent English is mandatory
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience handling clients from various industries.
* Experience mentoring junior staff.
* Familiar with accounting software such as Accurate or similar ERP systems.
* High attention to detail, proactive attitude, and strong sense of responsibility.
