Job description for Senior Software Tester & Support at Vi8e Interactive Pte. Ltd.
Primary Job Duties:
- Develop, document, and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts for web and mobile applications.
- Perform various types of testing, including functional, integration, regression, performance, and usability testing.
- Collaborate closely with developers, product owners, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and provide timely feedback on software quality.
- Lead and mentor junior testers, providing guidance and support in testing methodologies and best practices.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of testing processes and methodologies within the team.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues reported by end-users, providing timely and effective support.
- Monitor application performance and stability in production environments.
- Create and maintain support documentation, including FAQs and troubleshooting guides.
- Participate in release planning and ensure the quality of deliverables.
Technical requirement:
- Basic knowledge of any programming languages
- Having worked on a project within a team is a must
- Understanding of web application UI / UX
- Understanding of mobile application UI / UX
- Min 1 year experienced as a software tester / technical support
- Having skill on automated testing will be an advantage
- Experienced in creating a detailed test scenario
- Knowledge of SQL Query Language will be an added advantage
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities :
- Detailed and Organised
- Proficient in English (written and oral)
- Proficient in Chinese (read and write), can speak Chinese will be an advantage
- Degree in IT or equivalent
- Strong communications skills / interpersonal skills
- Attentive to every detail
- Able to work individually or within a team
- Organisational skills with the capability of working towards tight deadlines
- Discipline and has a good time management
- Have a high sense of responsibility and urgency
- Healthy physically and mentally. Have no history of serious illness in the past 1 year
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in IT Or Equivalent Experience
- Minimum 1 (one) year experience as a software tester or IT support.
