Job Description
We are looking for a strategic, detail-oriented individual to join our team as a senior security engineer. To be successful as a senior security engineer, you should have excellent attention to detail as well as strong strategic planning skills. Outstanding senior security engineer display great communication and interpersonal skills, as well as top-notch technical skills.
Responsibilities:
- Reporting to Head of Security to provide security support internally as well as eVantage clients/partners
- Acting as team lead and mentor to junior security engineers
- Working closely with Operation and Admin team to improve operation efficiency
- Acting as 1st level security technical escalation point to provide security advice to operation team when there are security advisories alerts issued by CSA/SingCERT
- Responsible to ensure timely delivery of CSAT execution and vulnerability assessment to eVantage managed service clients
- Expected to implement security solutions as such as firewall, anti-virus
- Upkeep of company security policies and SharePoint documentations
- Attending meetings with prospects/partners/clients
- Prepare scope of work proposal in response to requests for quotation
- Meeting with clients to discuss security measures, provide information, and explained the designed system.
- Coordinating and leading a team of security engineer and assigning tasks to ensure deliverables are delivered as committed
- Suggesting improvements to existing security systems/processes
- Remaining up to date with the latest security systems, tools, trends, and technology.
Requirements:
- A Bachelor's degree or Polytechnic diploma in computer science, security, or a related field.
- Security/Vendor specific security certifications such as FortiGate, Microsoft, SonicWall, CCNA, CCNP is a plus
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in security solutioning and implementation
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in security lead/team lead role
- Excellent security technical skills
- Great communication skills and the ability to present technical jargon in an understandable way.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and decision-making skills.
- A highly logical, honest, and objective nature.
- Good teamwork and time management skills.
