Job description for Senior Quality System at Hijack Sandals
Job Responsibilities
- Develop and manage the Critical to Quality (CTQ) framework to ensure product quality standards are clearly defined and maintained.
- Develop and manage the Critical to Process (CTP) framework to ensure key manufacturing processes meet established standards.
- Develop inspection methods, quality criteria, and acceptable tolerance levels for products and processes.
- Establish and maintain manufacturing quality standards in line with brand requirements.
- Set up and manage the pre-production quality process, including a series of samples and approval stages prior to mass production.
- Monitor and control quality during mass production to ensure products consistently meet established standards.
- Develop and monitor a Defect Management System in collaboration with the Operations team.
- Identify quality issues and initiate appropriate corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
- Develop and monitor a Manufacturing Quality Scorecard from the brand's perspective.
- Collaborate closely with R&D, Operations, and Manufacturing teams throughout the product development and production process.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of all processes related to product development, manufacturing, and quality systems.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience in the footwear industry, preferably in Quality Assurance (QA) / Quality Control (QC).
- Strong understanding of QA/QC systems and quality management processes.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing process control and quality standards.
- Strong knowledge of Root Cause Analysis and corrective action processes.
- Good understanding of defect classification and defect management.
- Good understanding of inspection and sampling methodologies.
- Strong attention to detail and analytical problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally with R&D, Operations, and Manufacturing teams.
