Senior Product Development Specialist

Job Description

• Managed the end-to-end product development process, covering timeline development, prototype evaluation, and packaging design process.
• Research and benchmark new trends, crystallized and develop new ideas for upcoming products, evaluate and survey market trends and needs on beauty industry aligned with customer behavior
• Collaborate cross-functionally (RND, Packaging, Brand) and with external partners to ensure timely executive of product ideas.
• Developing and maintaining to improve the product launches for skincare based on market needs and recent trends.
• Develop effective product knowledge and marketing USPs to drive sales and brand awareness.
• Gathered and analyzed consumer feedback to identify pain points and opportunities for product improvement.
• Communicate with Research and Development team to improve samples based on feedback
• Ensure product designs align with brand visuals
• Develop innovative skincare products by balancing creativity with time and budget constraints to ensure efficient and cost-effective product launches.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, Chemistry, Business/ Marketing, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 - 5 years of experience in Product Development within the skincare or cosmetics industry.
• Strong understanding and experienced in skincare formulation and cosmetic product development from ideation to production, market research and competitive analysis.
• Familiarity with packaging development and design trends in the beauty industry.
• Excellent communication, collaboration skills, creative and innovatiove ability to work cross-functionally and collaborate with external partners.
• Demonstrated innovation within time and budget constraints.
• Excellent project management skills to oversee product development timelines efficiently.
• Passion for the beauty industry and staying updated on the latest skincare trends.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
