Job description for Senior Procurement at Prime Talent Consulting
Job Purpose
Responsible for managing the entire procurement process for goods and services required by development projects from vendor sourcing, tendering, and negotiation, to purchasing and monitoring material deliveries to ensure that projects run on time, within budget, and in compliance with quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
• Carry out the procurement of materials, equipment, and services in line with project requirements.
• Manage Purchase Requests (PR), Requests for Quotation (RFQ), Purchase Orders (PO), and other procurement documentation.
• Ensure materials are received according to the required specifications, quantities, and schedule.
• Identify, evaluate, and develop vendors.
• Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and quality standards.
• Coordinate with the Project Manager, Quantity Surveyor (QS), Site, Warehouse, and Finance teams.
• Prepare procurement reports, including vendor performance and cost savings.
Qualifications
• Minimum Diploma (D3) or Bachelor's degree (S1) in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Management, Supply Chain, or a related field.
• 2–3 years of procurement experience with a developer or contractor.
• Solid understanding of construction materials and the RFQ–PO process.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Google Workspace.
• Strong negotiation and analytical skills, with attention to detail and high integrity.
• Able to read and interpret architectural and construction drawings (e.g., shop drawings, technical specifications) to ensure procured materials match project requirements.
• Fluent in both Indonesian and English, written and spoken, for coordination with local and overseas vendors.
• Willing and able to travel within Indonesia and to China for vendor sourcing, factory visits, and quality checks.
• Comfortable with a hybrid work arrangement, including 1 day per week working from home.
• Prior experience sourcing or negotiating with overseas (China-based) suppliers is a strong advantage.
