Job description for Senior Pre Sales at PT Mitra Mandiri Informatika
As a Senior Pre-Sales Engineer at PT Mitra Mandiri Informatika, you will act as the key technical bridge between our sales team and prospective enterprise clients, primarily within the Banking and Financial Services Industry (FSI). You will lead all technical pre-sales activities, from initial requirement discovery and architecture design for financial crime solutions (AML, FDS, Fraud Management) to RFP responses and solution demonstrations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Solution Architecture & Technical Advisory:
- Discover and analyze business and technical requirements of banking/FSI clients regarding Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Fraud Detection Systems (FDS).
- Design robust, scalable, and compliant end-to-end technical solution architectures tailored to local regulatory frameworks (OJK/BI).
- RFP/Tender Management & Proposal Development:
- Lead the preparation of technical responses for Request for Proposals (RFPs), Request for Information (RFIs), and formal banking tender submissions.
- Define the technical Scope of Work (SoW) and coordinate closely with delivery/implementation teams.
Presentations & Demonstrations:
- Deliver technical pitches, solution overviews, and live product demonstrations to C-level executives, IT Heads, and Compliance/Risk Management teams.
Plan, manage, and execute Proof of Concept (PoC) engagements to validate solution capabilities.
Strategic Collaboration & Principal Relations:
- Partner with Account Executives (AEs) to identify technical upsell/cross-sell opportunities and drive deal closures.
- Engage with solution principals/vendors (such as SAS) for product updates, license sizing, and alignment on solution architecture.
Job Requirements
Qualifications & Experience:
- Professional Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience as a Pre-Sales Engineer, Technical Consultant, or Solution Architect in B2B enterprise IT or software solutions.
- Domain Expertise: Deep understanding of Financial Crime & Compliance solutions, including:
- Anti-Money Laundering (AML) & Transaction Monitoring Systems
- Fraud Detection Systems (FDS) across digital banking, payment channels, and cards
- Know Your Customer (KYC), Customer Due Diligence (CDD), and Sanction Screening
- Preferred Skillset: Hands-on experience or certifications with SAS solutions (e.g., SAS Anti-Money Laundering, SAS Fraud Management, or SAS Viya) is a strong plus.
Technical & Tender Proficiency:
- Proven track record of leading technical RFP/RFI responses for enterprise or banking-grade tenders.
- Ability to build high-level architecture diagrams (HLD), technical documentation, and infrastructure/license sizing models.
Interpersonal Skills:
- Exceptional presentation, negotiation, and communication skills with the ability to engage executive stakeholders.
- Strong analytical thinking and structured problem-solving approach.
Language: Professional working proficiency in both English and Bahasa Indonesia (written and spoken) for technical documentation and client presentations.
