Data Ductus is a global software consulting firm specializing in advanced network automation, service orchestration, and cloud solutions. We are software engineers with a passion to solve technically challenging problems in agile, scalable teams using the latest tools and languages. We are looking for our first engineer in our new Batam location to help us deliver projects and build a team that will help us deliver cutting-edge network automation solutions for our customers. We are actively involved in several exciting development projects with top-tier carriers, global resellers, and major telecommunications equipment providers, and the interest in automation for service provisioning, DevOps, and workflow solutions has never been greater.
We are a small company, and everyone is technical so our Senior Network Automation Engineer will work initially as a member of project delivery or internal asset development team developing and deploying Cisco/Tail-F NSO service packages, workflow infrastructure, or cloud automation. Once up to speed with our technologies, processes, and customers, the senior engineer and tech lead will assist us as we add more engineers to the team and tackle additional projects.
The successful candidate will have a B.S. in Computer Science or equivalent discipline and at least 10 years of experience in development or QA teams for networking equipment vendors (e.g Ericsson, Cisco etc) or telecommunications service providers (e.g Telkomsel etc).

Required skills
Significant experience with software development and problem solving skills in a Linux environment. Preferred in Java and Python.
Demonstrated success leading projects or teams, ideally for North American or European-based companies
Fluent in English, both spoken and written.

Desired Skills
Experience with networking equipment operation, configuration, and management
Experience with Angular and Node.js and its automation tools is desired
Experience with the Robot Test Framework is a plus
Experience with Cisco/Tail-F NSO is a plus
