About the role
Operate and maintain reliable, secure and scalable network and infrastructure environments covering network, server, NOC/monitoring and infrastructure security. The role supports both internal IT operations and external project delivery, working closely with the Infrastructure & Network Operations Lead.
Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain LAN/WAN, routing, switching, VLAN, VPN, connectivity, performance, availability and capacity
- Troubleshoot network issues and support network implementation for external projects
- Administer and maintain Linux and/or Windows servers, virtualization, storage, backup and related infrastructure
- Perform monitoring, patching, hardening, troubleshooting and lifecycle activities
- Implement and maintain security controls: firewall, access management, network segmentation, hardening, security monitoring and vulnerability remediation
- Support security incident response
- Monitor network, server and infrastructure availability; respond to alerts and incidents; perform escalation, recovery, root cause analysis and preventive actions
- Participate in infrastructure and security projects from technical design and planning through implementation, testing, deployment and handover
- Coordinate with vendors, project teams and stakeholders, and review technical solutions, configurations and implementation results
- Maintain network, server, security, configuration and operational documentation
- Share knowledge with the team and support cross-training through documentation and standardization
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in network, infrastructure, system administration and/or IT security, with strong hands-on responsibility for production environments
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, routing, switching, VLAN, VPN, DNS and DHCP
- Experience with firewalls, access control, network segmentation and security monitoring
- Linux and/or Windows server administration
- Experience with NOC operations, infrastructure monitoring, incident management and root cause analysis
- Experience with deployment, maintenance, patching, hardening, backup and recovery
- Experience implementing infrastructure and security projects
- Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to work independently in a lean team
- Good communication with vendors and cross-functional teams
Nice to have
- CCNA/CCNP, Fortinet, Palo Alto, CompTIA Security+, Linux, Microsoft or equivalent certification
- Experience with virtualization, cloud infrastructure, SIEM/security monitoring, IDS/IPS, endpoint security or vulnerability management
- Experience with automation/scripting, Docker or container infrastructure
