Job description for Senior .NET Developer at XtramileSolutions

Key Responsibilities

Design and build ASP.NET Core REST APIs using Onion / Clean Architecture.

Implement read/write separation using the CQRS pattern.

Develop relational data models with Entity Framework Core and SQL Server.

Build event-driven background processing using Azure Functions and Azure Service Bus.

Maintain and modernise legacy Windows Forms applications.

Utilise AI coding agents (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Claude Code) to boost engineering output.

Technical Requirements

Strong proficiency in modern .NET (.NET 8+), ASP.NET Core, and REST API design.

Practical experience with Onion/Clean Architecture and CQRS (MediatR).

Deep knowledge of Entity Framework Core and SQL Server query optimization.

Hands-on experience with Azure services (App Service, Functions, Service Bus, etc).

Experience with WinForms and legacy .NET Framework application.

Hands-on experience using AI coding tools in daily workflows.
