The Role
BukuKas is a Mobile-only business. We want our services to be available anytime, everywhere and simple enough to be managed fully via smartphone. Hence, Mobile Marketing is at the core of our overall strategy, both in terms of acquiring new users at light speed and retaining them in the long term. We are looking for a super star Senior Mobile Marketing Manager to own our customer acquisition and retention strategies end to end. The successful candidate will be in charge of further developing and scaling our Performance Marketing and Mobile CRM channel to acquire and communicate effectively with millions of MSMEs in the next 12 months! The role is based in Jakarta HQ. Are you ready for such an ambitious challenge?
What Will You Do?
- Be the key owner for BukuKas Customer Acquisition and Retention strategy for Indonesia
- Develop, scale and continuously optimize Performance Marketing Channels (Facebook, Google, Ad Networks, …) to attract high quality new app users efficiently
- Manage our Acquisition budget to get huge install volumes, optimizing for user quality and CPI
- Develop top class Mobile CRM Channels (push notifications, in-app notifications, SMS) to enhance experience along the entire customer journey
- Define and monitor key performance metrics to ensure corrective action is taken promptly when off track
- Work in partnership with Tech and Business Intelligence Teams to develop a solid data and A/B testing infrastructure
- Help build a culture of continuous learning and experimentation. Fail fast when wrong, scale fast when right.
- Identify new technologies and initiatives to continuously up our digital Marketing game
What Does It Take?
- Minimum 3 - 5 years of experience in Performance Marketing
- Minimum 2 years of direct experience in paid app install campaigns (esp. Facebook, Instagram, Google), ideally delivering > 1 million downloads
- Previous experience in managing and optimizing a sizeable Marketing budget
- Solid knowledge of Mobile CRM (esp. push notifications and in-app messages)
- Familiar with main tools used for Mobile Marketing and CRM (Eg. Appsflyer, Google analytics, Braze, Clevertap, etc.)
- Strong analytical background, combined with significant project management and communication skills
- Proficiency in Excel is a must
- Proficiency in SQL is a plus
- You are creative and can come up with killer campaign ideas autonomously
- You can “rewire” your brain to think like a real business owner would
- You are competitive and like scale, settling for #2 is not your thing
- You thrive in a high pressure, high ambiguity environment
