Senior IT Executive
About The Role:
We're seeking a Senior IT Executive to manage our IT infrastructure, both on land and on our ships. This is a hands-on role where you'll use your expertise in Microsoft Azure, advanced networking, and cloud applications to support our team. You'll be the key person for troubleshooting issues, strengthening our cybersecurity, and planning for disaster recovery. The ideal candidate is a proactive problem-solver with excellent communication skills, capable of managing IT operations across multiple locations and supporting all our personnel.
Job Responsibilities:
- Cloud & Infrastructure: Manage Azure services (VMs, backups, security), lead cloud application hosting, and collaborate with vendors on system integration projects.
- Networking: Configure and troubleshoot network devices (routers, firewalls, VPNs), manage VLANs, and set up SD-WAN and security protocols.
- Operations & Support: Oversee IT for 4–8 ships, four offices, and one junior IT executive. Provide comprehensive IT support, manage inventory, and handle budgeting and forecasting.
- Risk & Compliance: Develop and maintain IT risk management and disaster recovery plans, ensuring cybersecurity compliance in collaboration with Technical and QHSE teams.
- Administration: Maintain detailed records of all IT activities and prepare regular reports on performance, inventory, and budget.
This role is based in Batam, you'll occasionally need to travel to our offices in Johor, Kuala Lumpur, or Singapore.
