Job description for Senior Full Stack Developer at Zemangat
We are looking for an experienced Senior Full Stack Developer to join our team in developing and maintaining web-based business applications. The candidate will be involved in the end-to-end design, development, and enhancement of application features, as well as contributing to technical decision-making to support product growth.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain frontend and backend web applications.
- Design and implement new features, from the database and API to the user interface.
- Collaborate with product and design teams to deliver an optimal user experience.
- Integrate applications with REST APIs and third-party services.
- Perform application testing, debugging, and troubleshooting.
- Manage and optimize database performance and queries.
- Ensure the application meets security, performance, and maintainability standards.
- Conduct code reviews and implement software development best practices.
- Provide technical input regarding software architecture and product development.
- Stay updated with the latest technology trends and implement relevant solutions to improve product quality.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Full Stack Developer, Software Engineer, or in a similar role.
- Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts and Software Design Principles.
- Proficient in JavaScript and/or TypeScript.
- Proficient in React.js and its ecosystem (Hooks, React Router, React Query/TanStack Query).
- Experience in building REST APIs using Node.js (Express.js, Fastify, or NestJS) and/or PHP.
- Solid understanding of HTML, CSS, and responsive UI development.
- Experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or Oracle Database.
- Ability to write efficient SQL queries and perform database performance optimization.
- Accustomed to using Git and collaborative software development workflows.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Capable of completing end-to-end feature development, from the database to the user interface.
Nice-to-Haves (Bonus Qualifications)
- Experience with Angular, PHP.
- Experience working with multi-tenant or multi-company SaaS applications.
- Experience in deploying and managing applications on AWS, Google Cloud, Azure, Vercel, Railway, or Render.
- Familiarity with Docker and CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience utilizing AI-assisted development tools such as Cursor, Claude Code, Codex, GitHub Copilot, or similar tools.
- Previous experience acting as a technical lead, mentor, or code reviewer for other developers.
