Job description for SENIOR ELECTRICAL SPECIALIST at PT. THE COSTUME MAGNIFIQUE
Key Responsibilities
Electrical Design & Development
● Design and develop electrical systems for custom projects, mascots, costumes, and large-scale props.
● Build high-quality LED assemblies based on project requirements and client specifications.
● Design electrical systems that prioritize : Safety, Reliability, Ease of maintenance, User experience, Manufacturing efficiency
● Select suitable LEDs, drivers, batteries, controllers, wiring, connectors, and protection circuits for each project.
Product Development
● Develop innovative lighting effects using LED strips, LED panels, RGB lighting, addressable LEDs, and custom lighting solutions.
● Recommend the best electrical and lighting solutions during tender and quotation stages.
● Prototype and test electrical systems before production.
Standards & Quality
● Establish company standards and best practices for: LED installation, Battery systems, Waterproofing and electrical safety
● Ensure all electrical assemblies meet high standards of workmanship and reliability.
● Create documentation, wiring diagrams, and assembly guides for production and maintenance.
Troubleshooting & Maintenance
● Diagnose and repair electrical issues in existing projects.
● Improve the reliability and maintainability of legacy products.
● Conduct root cause analysis and implement permanent corrective actions.
Cross-functional Collaboration
● Provide technical advice throughout the project lifecycle.
Supplier & Component Management
● Source and evaluate suppliers for: LEDs, Batteries, Connectors, Controllers, Electrical components
Requirements
● Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in electrical or electronics assembly, preferably involving LED
systems.
● Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field.
● Strong knowledge of: LEDs, Constant-current and constant-voltage systems, Power supplies, Batteries (Li-ion, LiFePO₄, etc.), Battery charging and protection circuits
● Proficient in soldering, cable assembly, connector crimping, and PCB assembly.
● Able to read and interpret: Electrical schematics, Wiring diagrams, PCB layouts
● Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills for electrical systems.
● Able to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
● Strong communication and teamwork skills across multiple departments.
● Self-motivated with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
● Familiarity with electrical safety standards and battery safety practices.
● Experience preparing technical documentation and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
● Basic project management experience is an advantage.
● Experience using 3D printers (e.g., Bambu Lab) and understanding how electrical systems integrate with
3D-printed parts is a plus.
