Senior Chef de Partie

About us:

We are looking for an experienced Sous Chef to lead a kitchen section, ensuring exceptional food quality and presentation. Set in a charming cottage-inspired space in Ubud, our client is a café that offers a warm, earthy ambiance perfect for connecting with nature. Our menu celebrates fresh, locally sourced ingredients, featuring an array of vegetarian and vegan dishes crafted to delight the senses while nourishing the body.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and supervise the kitchen team in your assigned section.
• Ensure high-quality food preparation and presentation in line with the restaurant's standards.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe kitchen environment.
• Collaborate on menu planning, development, and execution.
• Monitor stock levels and maintain inventory accuracy.
• Train and mentor junior kitchen staff.

Requirements:

• Professional Proficient in English
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a Chef de Partie or similar role, preferably in a high-end establishment.
• Extensive experience preparing a wide variety of quality Western and Asian dishes (incl. vegetarian/ vegan/ gluten free/ lactose free)
• Be up to date with culinary trends
• Strong knowledge of kitchen operations, food safety, and hygiene standards..
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Ability to work well under pressure and lead a team effectively.
• Creativity and a passion for innovation in the kitchen.
