Job description for Senior Business Development Manager at Optimise Media

- This is a business development role with a strong element of Account management, development, and growth. The core focus of the role is to identify and recruit local Vietnamese advertisers, upsell with existing advertisers to the Optimise Vietnam; develop strong relationships with advertisers to deliver profitable sales growth in Vietnam.
- The role requires someone with excellent relationship building and communication skills, coupled with initiative and drive to achieve sales driven results.

- This role will be responsible for acquiring new advertisers and upsell with existing advertisers in Vietnam and driving profitable sales growth for our existing advertisers.
- The successful candidate will also be required to collaborate and work effectively with the Client Services and Delivery teams based in SEA.
- Business development responsibilities
- New advertisers and agencies tie-ups in Vietnam
- Increase revenue from existing clients by upselling to CPL, CPS, CPI, CPV from the network in Vietnam
- Develop strong, strategic, and commercial relationships with the top advertisers in whilst nurturing developing new and emerging advertisers in Vietnam.
- Identify commercial opportunities & contribute to profitable sales growth
- Exceed targets and meet all deadlines, delivering high quality output always
- Calculate accurate sales revenue forecasts for the weekly business development report
- Prioritize time & focus based on commercial priorities and account importance
- Support the Client Services Team to deliver commercial growth from relevant advertisers
- Support the Client Services team by providing detailed commercial proposals in response to requests from Advertisers
- Demonstrate industry & competitor knowledge providing insight to the Client Service Team
- Accountable for collaborative working with Client Service and Delivery teams
- Identify increases or downturns in performance on Vietnam campaigns and provide insight into these
- Build a professional profile within the industry in Vietnam, demonstrating expertise performance advertising
- Acquire an expertise and advanced knowledge of Optimises products and services
- Experience in a similar account management or sales role
- Good grasp of figures and financials and experience of working to targets and deadlines
- Excellent knowledge of digital marketing and how to deliver results online
- Hands-on experience of digital channels and working to performance advertising metrics such as CPM, CPC, CPL, CPI, CPCV, CPA , CPO and CPS
- Commercial aptitude, with ability and motivation to drive profitable sales growth
- Ability to influence and negotiate and acquire new business
- Excellent organizational and prioritization skills
- Ability to be flexible and manage conflicting priorities
- Self-starter, able to work under their own initiative and as part of a team
- Has a professional approach both internally and externally
- Is a strong communicator who can pitch at an appropriate level for the audience
- Fluent in Vietnamese and English compulsory
- Deliver individual sales targets and contribute to the overall team targets
- Develop and maintain relationships with advertisers to enable sustained sales growth and obtain exclusivity where possible
- Develop a strong understanding of the business models used by publishers, how these can benefit Optimise’s Advertisers, and how Optimise can further capitalise on these opportunities
- Develop a good understanding of Optimise’s systems and interface and technical offerings to Publishers/advertisers - understand what is on offer!
- Develop a growth plan for key publishers/advertisers that includes identifying future growth opportunities and selling in additional services and initiatives
- Deliver insightful forecasting and feedback of account activity, to inform the wider business of performance trends/impacts
- Effective liaison with Client Service and Delivery Teams to drive positive outcomes
