Job description for Senior Barista at Kedai RAK Kopi
About the role
We are seeking an experienced Barista to teach coffee classes at our cafe. Our cafe focuses on regularly held Barista classes, and we need someone who can educate and guide others in coffee knowledge and barista skills.
Key responsibilities:
- Teach barista classes to students (approximately 40-70 students per month)
- Demonstrate coffee preparation and barista techniques
- Maintain good vibes and create a comfortable work environment for staff and management
- Work 3-4 days per week with flexible structured scheduling
- Communicate effectively with students and colleagues
Requirement:
- Coffee knowledge and experience as a Barista
- Good communication skills, suited for extroverted individuals
- Good attitude and ability to maintain professionalism
- Presentable appearance, well-groomed and neat casual style
- Honest, friendly, and able to collaborate and coordinate with others
- Willing to work, learn, and develop teaching skills
- English language skills are a plus
