Senior Baker

Job Description:

We are looking for a talented and experienced Senior Baker to join our team. As a Senior Baker, you will be responsible for leading the baking team, ensuring high-quality baked goods, and maintaining the overall efficiency of the bakery. Your expertise in bread, pastries, and cake production will help create exceptional products that meet our standards and delight our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Prepare and bake a variety of bread, pastries, cakes, and other baked goods according to recipes and quality standards.
2. Supervise and train junior bakers and assistants to ensure consistency and efficiency.
3. Develop new recipes and improve existing ones to enhance the bakery’s offerings.
4. Ensure all baked goods meet food safety and hygiene standards.
5. Manage inventory, monitor ingredient levels, and place orders as needed.
6. Oversee the proper operation and maintenance of bakery equipment.
7. Work collaboratively with the team to meet production schedules and customer demands.
8. Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen and storage areas.
   

Job Requirements:

1. Proven experience as a Senior Baker or in a similar leadership role in a bakery.
2. Strong knowledge of baking techniques, ingredients, and equipment.
3. Ability to create and innovate new recipes while maintaining quality and consistency.
4. Excellent time management and organizational skills.
5. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet production deadlines.
6. Familiarity with food safety and hygiene regulations.
