Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Backend Developer (Node.js) to join our development team. The ideal candidate has strong experience in backend application development, API development, database management, and AWS-based environments.
You will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and enhancing backend services and APIs while working closely with other developers and project stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
* Design, develop, and maintain backend applications using Node.js and TypeScript.
* Develop and maintain RESTful APIs for web and application integrations.
* Design, develop, and optimize SQL databases and queries.
* Work with AWS database services and cloud-based backend environments.
* Ensure backend applications are scalable, reliable, secure, and maintainable.
* Troubleshoot and resolve backend and database-related issues.
* Integrate backend services with third-party systems and applications.
* Collaborate with frontend developers, QA engineers, and other technical teams.
* Participate in code reviews, testing, debugging, and system improvements.
* Prepare and maintain technical documentation when required.
Requirements
* Minimum 5 years of professional experience in backend development.
* Strong programming experience with Node.js.
* Strong knowledge of TypeScript.
* Strong understanding of SQL and relational databases.
* Experience working with AWS database services.
* Strong experience developing and integrating RESTful APIs.
* Good understanding of backend architecture, API design, and database optimization.
* Experience with Git and standard software development workflows.
* Good problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
* Able to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
* Professional English communication skills, both written and spoken.
* Willing to work onsite.
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience with AWS cloud services beyond database services.
* Experience with authentication and authorization for REST APIs.
* Experience with microservices architecture.
* Knowledge of application security and API security.
* Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.
Contract & Working Arrangement
* Initial contract: 3 months
* Extension: Possible additional 3-month contract based on performance and project requirements
* Work arrangement: Onsite
* Position: Full-time during the contract period
