Senior Associate Tax Consultant

Job Responsibilities

In this role, you will report to the assistant manager/manager and oversee the work of associate/junior team members, ensuring it aligns with the company's established procedures. Additionally, you will play a pivotal role in supporting team development. Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Provide clear instructions to associates/junior team members on assigned tasks.
• Review calculations for tax provisions and tax returns prepared by associates/juniors, ensuring accuracy and adherence to company procedures.
• Oversee data collection from clients handled by associates/juniors, tracking timelines and monitoring progress.
• Assess tax reconciliations, data summaries, working papers, and draft correspondence related to audits, objections, appeals, or JR.
• Conduct thorough reviews of documents before submission to the tax office, tax court, or supreme court.
• Attend meetings with clients and tax officials as needed.
• Participate in tax hearings or reconciliation sessions, preparing detailed meeting minutes.
• Perform extensive research on Indonesian tax regulations and tax regimes.
• Analyze tax issues from tax perspectives to draft report comments and discuss findings with assistant manager/manager.
• Shows a strong commitment to personal growth and continuous professional development.

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in taxation or accounting with a minimum GPA of 3.00 on a 4.00 scale.
• At least 2-5 years of working experience in the tax consultant field.
• Knowledge of Indonesian tax regulations, holding a Brevet A/B/C Certification is an advantage.
• Proficient in both written and spoken English and Bahasa Indonesia.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet established goals and deadlines while maintaining high quality.
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
• A good team player who enjoys collaborating with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
